Joyce Dixson-Haskett is a front-runner in the advocacy for children of incarcerated parents. Her clinical model, Levels of Response to Traumatic Events (L.O.R.T.E.), is described as “The Most Sensible Approach in Assisting Children with Incarcerated Parents. She has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Joyce is a survivor of human trafficking and is also considered to be a “front-runner” in the fight against human trafficking.
